Summary:PURPOSE:To allow a pedestrian to clearly sense an auditory signal, and to safely cross a road by setting the frequency band of a ambient noise level measuring instrument and an auditory signal, and providing a signal generating circuit to make variable an output level. CONSTITUTION:When the pedestrian operates a push button 5 at an intersection, a music generating device 4 detects a signal. A device 4 outputs a music signal in synchronization with the blue signal from a traffic signal controller 3 to a lighting device 2 for the pedestrian, it continues while the blue signal is sent, and a speaker 6 sounds a music. The output level is selected to the optimum level according to the ambient noise level from a microphone 7, and sets at the frequency zone different from that of the noise. Consequently, the music from the speaker 6 is set at necessary and sufficient sound volume. By such a constitution, the pedestrian can senses the clear auditory signal and the safety crossing of the road is realized.
