PURPOSE:To output a hard copy by a simple constitution, by applying judge processing to the relation between the output colors of two colors with respect to a plurality of display colors on the basis of the content of an image memory and that of a main memory. CONSTITUTION:Code type data, code background color data, pattern type data and pattern background color data are stored in a main memory 2 while the display brightness data formed on the basis of code data, command data and pattern data as well as R-, G- and B-display color data are stored in an image memory 3. When the content of the image memory 3 is displayed on a display part 4 and the display content thereof is outputted as a hard copy, a shape can not be clearly outputted by two colors only on the basis of the content of the image memory 3 and, therefore, the code shape data, code background color data, pattern shape data and pattern background color data stored in the main memory 2 are read and the relation between a predetermined display color and an output color is judged by a processor 1 and the judge result is applied to a printer 5 to output a hard copy.
