Summary: | PURPOSE:To enable the sufficient heat treatment for curing an oriented film for a liquid crystal by providing a coloring agent supplying layer contg. a coloring agent on a glass substrate to a prescribed shape and subjecting the layer to a heating treatment, thereby coloring the glass substrate to the prescribed shape. CONSTITUTION:The coloring agent supplying layer 9 contg. a pigment which forms a red color is spin-coated on the glass substrate 1 and thereafter, a photosensitive resin film 8 is coated over the entire surface. A photomask 10 having the pattern corresponding to a red filter part is pressed to said film and the photosensitive resin film 8 is exposed by UV light and is developed so that the coloring agent supplying layer 9 remains only on the part desired to be dyed on the glass substrate 1. The photosensitive resin film 8 is removed by a remover. The layer is then subjected to the heating treatment to color the glass substrate 1. The coloring agent supplying layer 8 is removed by fuming nitric acid to complete the red filter part 4. Since the glass substrate itself is colored, the color filter which withstands the heating treatment at the time of curing the oriented film is obtd. |
