Summary: | PURPOSE:To obtain a small sized absorber of high performance which is excellent in suppression effect of surge noise, by providing a metal terminal penetrating a plurality of voltage-dependent nonlinear elements, and mounting two ring type magnetic substances on the metal terminal in such a manner as to put the plurality of elements between them. CONSTITUTION:A voltage-dependent nonlinear resistance element of ring type is provided with electrodes on the inner peripheral surface and the outer peripheral surface. A ceramic dielectric element has voltage-dependent nonlinear resistance characteristics. These elements are used independently or in combination. A metal terminal 12 is arranged in such a manner as to penetrate a plurality of these elements 6, 9. The inner peripheral electrodes 8, 9 of the plurality of elements 6, 9 are electrically connected with the metal terminal 12, and two ring type magnetic substances 19, 20 are mounted on the metal terminal 12 in such a manner as to put the plurality of elements between them. Both ends 13, 15 of the metal terminal 12 have a structure to connect leads. The outer peripheral electrodes 7, 10 of a plurality of elements 6, 9 have a structure wherein they are all electrically connected by metal parts 16, 17, 18 constituting gaps between these parts and the metal terminal 12 in a part of or the whole part of the peripheral part. |
