Summary:PURPOSE:To reduce a cleaning water amt. and equipment cost by performing the cleaning of the belt for gravity dehydrating part always during the dehydrating operation and intermittently cleaning the other turning belt of the dehydrating part according to the fouling. CONSTITUTION:The drain belt 1 for a gravity dehydrating part consisting of the coarse filter cloth of a big ventilation is provided and fine mesh lower belt 5 and upper belt 10 are respectively arranged at a wedge like dehydrating part 8 and shearing water part 9 as well. The drain belt 1 is always cleaned by the cleaning water from a cleaning nozzle 12. The lower belt 5 and upper belt 10 are intermittently cleaned via solenoid valve 17 by the cleaning water having a higher water pressure that that of the belt 1. In this case, the intermittent time is set according to the fouling of the belt. The cleaning water is thus reduced. Consequently the equipment cost is reduced because the cleaning water tank can be miniaturized.
