Summary:PURPOSE:To reduce the facility cost for a clean air feed device by limiting the constitution of the clean air atmosphere to a thin film forming process section alone. CONSTITUTION:The thin film forming process of photo-resist or the like on the inner face of a panel in product processes of a color cathode-ray tube must be performed in the highly clean air atmosphere. The facility cost of an air conditioner feeding the clean air is large, the cost can be reduced by limiting the device to the minimum required. The required clean air is fed to a photo- resist processing area 10a for the thin film coating process via an air duct 42 and an absolute filter unit 50 provided at its upper section and sucked through a return duct 80. A panel is intermittently transferred to the processing area 10a at the required time by a carrier 11 and transferred to the preset position via the carrier 11 after the required processing.
