Summary:PURPOSE:To easily coat fluorescent paints without loss on multiple kinds of panels via the switching of fluorescent paint slurry by holding and intermittently moving the cathode-ray tube panel at the required attitude and coating fluorescent paints of multiple colors on the midway. CONSTITUTION:A cathode-ray tube panel P is held by an automatic angle changing robot and intermittently moved along the line of a conveyor 21. Washers 23-25, heating driers 26-29 and phosphor slurry coating machines 30-35 are arranged along the conveyor 21, exposing devices 46 are connected to the line via an outlet 45 and an inlet 47. The panel P is intermittently transferred to devices of required processes while being kept at the attitude required for each process. The phosphor slurry coating machines 30-35 are provided with injection places 30a and excess slurry recovery covers 30c in response to sizes of various panels, a multitude of them of the same color are continuously arranged on the carrier movement axis.
