PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of a filament and the blackening of a bulb by arranging a getter material from the fused-cutting part of an exhaust pipe toward an exhaust port. CONSTITUTION:Since a getter material 8 is arranged between an exhaust port 6 and the fused-cutting part of an exhaust pipe 5, H2O and a harmful gas released from the exhaust pipe 5 when the exhaust pipe 5 is fused-cut by a burner 9 are absorbed by the getter material 8 and their introduction to the inside of a bulb 1 is prevented. Moreover, since the getter material 8 functions to absorb and remove the escape gas from the inside of the bulb 1 during the lighting, the harmful gas and H2O are never sealed in the lamp, and the escape gas is also never filled therein. Consequently, the evaporation of a filament can be prevented, and a long life of the lamp can be maintained.
