Summary:PURPOSE:To strengthen the connective fixing strength between a blade holder and the shoe side connection parts and enable a position adjusting function of a blade body to be held by forming a guide rail section fixedly pinching a blade body and the blade holder and held by connecting parts. CONSTITUTION:A blade 10 is constituted from a blade body 1 formed on the lower end with a slide face 4 and a blade holder 2 holding the blade body 1 and having the upper portion connected to connecting parts 14 mounted to the bottom 12 of an ice skate shoe 13. The blade body 1 has the upper portion 6 fitted in a fit groove 5 formed in the lower portion of the blade holder 2 and pinched fixedly through epoxy resin adhesives to the blade holder 2. Aluminum alloy or the like is an excellent material for the blade holder 2 and the blade body 1 is preferably made of ceramics having an excellent antiwear property. Then, when connecting members 15 for fixing a guide rail section 2a and the connecting parts 14 are loosened to shift the blade holder, the position of the blade can be adjusted. Since the guide rail section is held from both sides by the connecting parts, sufficiently large strength for the connective fixation can be maintained.
