Summary:PURPOSE:To improve the properties of the grain boundaries at the welding heat affected zone of the title steel plate and to prevent the Zn plating cracks by specifying the contents of C, Mn, Si and Al as fundamental components, limiting the combination of other components to be added and quantifying the primary factors caused by welding. CONSTITUTION:The compsn. of the steel plate contg., by weight, <=0.25% C, <=2.0% Mn, 0.03-0.35% Si and 0.005-0.7% Al, contg., in accordance with the request of strength and toughness, one or more kinds among <=2% Cu, <=2% Ni, <=0.5% Cr, <=0.5% Mo, <=0.1% V, <=0.06% Nb, <=0.02% Ti, <=0.0005% B and <=0.0150% N and the balance consisting of Fe with inevitable impurities is constituted. The combination of the elements is furthermore limited by the equation S (equation I), the factors caused by welding are quantified by the equation A (equation II) and the value given by the equation III is regulated to >=60. By this method, the generation of the cracks on the grain boundaries of the welding heat affected zone can be prevented.
