Summary:PURPOSE:To detect the state of battery voltage simply by setting first and second control voltages in a charging controller and increasing the quantity of the power generation of a generator while the voltage of a terminal for detecting the state of battery voltage is between first and second control voltages. CONSTITUTION:A transistor 10 for controlling the current of a field coil 1c and a transistor 11 for controlling a lamp for an alarm driving the lamp 5 are installed in a voltage controller 2. The voltage of a terminal T for detecting the state of the voltage of a battery 3 is compared with the first - third reference voltages of comparators 16-18, and the transistor 10 for controlling field currents and the transistor 11 for controlling the lamp for the alarm are controlled by outputs from these comparators.
