Summary:PURPOSE:To surely imprint data in the specified part of a copied image by providing a driving device for moving integrally combined imprinting electrifying device with exposing device to a specified position. CONSTITUTION:The imprinting electrifying device 202 of an imprinting head 201 reelectrifies a part of a photosensitive body and the imprinting LED array 203 imprints the data. The imprinting head 201 incorporated in a unit case 213 is mounted on a belt 205 which moves the head right and left, which is laid between a driving pulley 211 and a follower pulley 212. The driving pulley 211 is driven to reciprocate by a stepping motor 204 supported in the unit case 213 through gears 206 and 207. Thus, a movable part like a shutter can be eliminated and the data can be surely imprinted in the specified part of the copied image.
