Summary: | PURPOSE:To make it possible to compensate pincushion distortion with good balance between the center and circumferential portion of a raster by providing projections extending from both outer ends of upper and lower magnetic body parts approximately perpendicularly toward a screen surface side so that the length of the projection is equal to or less than the axial directional length of an outer rim of a flange portion of a coil support frame. CONSTITUTION:A pair of magnetic body pieces 6, 7 are provided with magnetic body portions 6a, 7a located at a screen surface side between a vertical deflection coil and a coil support body frame 1, with upper and lower magnetic body portions 6b, 6c, 7b, 7c extending approximately perpendicularly from the magnetic body portions 6a, 7a facing the outer end surface on the screen surface side of the vertical deflection coil, and with projections 6d, 6e, 7d, 7e extending approximately perpendicularly from respective outer ends of the upper and lower magnetic portions and directed toward the screen surface side. The projecting length of the projections 6d, 6e, 7d, 7e is made equal to or less than the axial directional length of the outer rim at a flange 3 of a coil supporting frame body 1. This makes it possible to compensate pincushion distortion with good balance between the center and the circumferential portion of a raster. |
