Summary:PURPOSE:To enhance a mist removing rate to a large extent, in an eliminator having blades arranged in a gas flow direction, by providing electrodes to which high voltage is applied between the blades. CONSTITUTION:In an eliminator having blades 4 arranged in a gas flow direction A, electrodes 5 to which high voltage is applied are provided between the blades 4. As a result, even when the blades having no pawls are used, a mist removing rate can be enhanced to a large extent and, especially, in a low gas speed region, the mist removing rate almost equal to that at the time of the max. capacity can be secured.
