Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain a stabilizer for improving soft earth at the sea bottom, which can shorten the period of application for solidification of the earth, by mixing blast furnace slag powder with sulfate resisting portland cement with predetermined weight parts. CONSTITUTION:100 weight parts of blast furnace slag powder is mixed with 15 to 50 weight parts of sulfate resisting portland cement, and thus obtained mixture is used as a stabilizer for improving soft earth in the sea bottom. With this arrangement, the time of initial solidification can be delayed while the strength can be rapidly increased after initiation of the solidification.
