Summary:PURPOSE: To eliminate the influence of the scattering in detection sensitivity by providing a fluorescent glass element for generating fluorescence after being light-excited due to the incidence of ultraviolet rays and a mask frame for covering the peripheral edge of a fluorescence detection surface. CONSTITUTION: A fluorescent glass element 31 is in different shape depending on various kinds of purposes and is engaged into an inner-envelope 32. Then, the inner-surrounding equipment 32 is constituted of a mask frame 34 with an upper surface window 33 for detecting fluorescence for masking the entire peripheral edge part of one fluoresce detection surface of the fluorescent glass element 31. Therefore, when the fluorescent glass element 31 is included in the inner-envelope 32, the peripheral edge part of one fluorescent detection surface of the fluorescent glass element is masked by the mask frame of an original surrounding equipment. When the inner-envelope including the fluorescent glass element is placed at an outer-envelope 37, the peripheral edge part of the other fluorescence detection surface of the fluorescence glass element is masked by the mask frame 38 of the envelope, thus preventing a detection sensitivity from being affected by the scattering of, for example, a chamfering width.
