Summary:PURPOSE:To improve connection strength drastically, by a method wherein at the time of press molding of a short-sized synthetic resin sheet, a protrusion which goes in and out in a longitudinal direction and widens toward an end and a recessed part widens toward the interior are molded alternately on a rear end of the short-sized synthetic resin sheet. CONSTITUTION:A main body 11a of a top force possesses a cut-off part 13 protruding downward, corresponding to which a receiving stepped part 14 is formed on a rear end of a bottom force 12 and the cut-off part 13 turns uneven cut-off part obtained by forming alternately a protrusion 13a widens toward an end and a recessed part 13b widens toward the interior. A heated short-sized synthetic resin sheet X2 is set up to a press mold 1 and pressed by lowering the main body 11a of the top force. Then molten resin of the short-sized synthetic resin sheet X2 flows into a recessed part 15b which has been formed at a rear end part of a molded body X provided ahead of the resin sheet X2, welded to the rear end part of unevenness of the molded body X provided ahead of the resin sheet X2 under a state where they are bitten with each other and connected unitarily with each other. Simultaneously with the above the molten resin flows into the recessed part 13b of the rear end cut-off part 13, which widens toward the interior and a protrusion 15a widens toward an end and a recessed part 15b widens toward the interior are formed on a rear end part of the short-sized synthetic resin sheet X2.
