Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain a resin composition having improved impact resistance at ordinary and low temperatures while maintaining heat, flame resistance, rigidity, etc., of the above-mentioned resin, by blending a polyether imide resin with ethylene-butene-1 copolymer. CONSTITUTION:A polyether imide resin composition obtained by blending (A) 50-99wt.% polyether imide expressed by the formula (R is 6-30C bifunctional aromatic organic group; R' is groups R, 2-20C alkylene., cycloalkylene group, etc.) and (B) 50-1wt.% ethylene-butene-1 copolymer and, as necessary, antioxidant, ultraviolet ray absorber, mold releasing agent, reinforcing agent, such as glass fiber, or filler, such as mica.
