Summary:PURPOSE:To produce a polymer polyol which has a low viscosity and a good dispersion stability, by graft-polymerizing a specific high-molecular weight polyether polyol into which a polyether polyol is added and a monomer having an ethylenically unsaturated group. CONSTITUTION:1mol of a polyether polyol having a molecular weight of 3,000-7,000 is reacted with 0.5-5mol of allyl glycidyl ether at 80-160 deg.C to produce an allylated polyether polyol. The product is polymerized in the presence of a peroxide radical catalyst at 70-200 deg.C to produce a high-molecular weight polyether polyol (B). 1-40wt.% component (B) is added to a polyether polyol (A) having a molecular weight of 2,000-6,000, and they are subjected to radical polymerization together with 20-60wt.% monomer containing an ethylenically unsaturated group (e.g., styrene) in the presence of a radical catalyst at 60-200 deg.C to produce a polymer polyol.
