Summary: | PURPOSE:To prevent a video signal to be lacked and to effectively utilize a display screen by time base-compressing the picture size of plural input present standard television signals to a prescribed rate, synthesizing the signals and projecting them after scanning line conversion. CONSTITUTION:The present standard television signal is added to input terminals 14-25 and respectively inputted to field memories 27-38. A writing address and a reading address are given from an address generating circuit 39 to the field memories 27-38. At the output time of the field memories 27-38, the television signals to be inputted to the input terminals 14-25 go to be reproducing signals, which are time base-compressed to 1/4 in a horizontal direction and to 1/3 in a vertical direction and the signals are synthesized by a synthesizing circuit 40. Then, after the number of scanning lines are converted by a scanning line converting circuit 41, the signals are projected through a switching circuit 42 to a display device 43 without being lacked and generating a non-display part. |
