Summary: | PURPOSE: To provide a yarn-dyed cheese that comprises a special polyester multifilament non-spirally crimped yarn, can be readily controlled in its winding density and has high dyeing levelness and the shape stability of the package. CONSTITUTION: This yarn-dyed cheese comprises a non-spirally crimped polyester multifilament yarn that has the interlaced bundle parts 12 and the crimped parts with the crimp shape coefficient of <=0.5, defined as crimp elongation-(CE)/ percentage crimp (N). This crimped yarn is produced by interlacing polyester multifilament yarns with an air-jetting flow to form the interlaced bundle parts in the longitudinal direction of the yarn, fixing the yarn shape by its heat-setting under relaxation, then extending the heat-set yarn to delete partially the loops and the interlaced bundle parts. This crimped yarn is wound up to a cheese and dyed, thereby, the objective yarn-dyed cheese is obtained. |
