Summary:PURPOSE:To fully utilize motor characteristic, by modifying the level of a triangular wave required for PWM control corresponding to motor load and prohibiting modification of triangular wave under predetermined low load. CONSTITUTION:A modulating means 104 provides a PWM control signal to a drive means 106 based on an output signal from an accelerator 100 and a triangular wave outputted from a triangular wave output means 114. On the other hand, driving current for a motor 108 is detected through a driving current detecting means 110 and provided to a detection level output means 112. The triangular wave output means 114 modifies the level of triangular wave corresponding to an output signal from the detection level output means 112. If the level of driving current corresponds to a level for a predetermined low load, triangular wave is not modified. Consequently, performance of device can be utilized effectively.
