Summary:PURPOSE: To obtain a raised fabric excellent in raising and opening properties and having a soft touch feeling by composing raised part of a polyester multifilament nonturning crimped yarn having interlaced bundled parts and crimped parts in the yarn longitudinal direction and a specific value or below of crimp shape factor. CONSTITUTION: This raised fabric is obtained by composing raised parts of a nonturning yarn which can be prepared by a method, etc., for carrying out an interlacing treatment of a polyester multifilament yarn having <=50% heat shrinkage percentage with a jetting stream, setting the form by a relaxing treatment and eliminating a part of the interlaced bundled parts 12 by an extending treatment and having the interlaced bundled parts 12 and crimped parts and <=0.5 crimp shape factor defined by crimp extension ratio/number of crimps. The number of the interlaced bundled parts 12 is 10-40 parts/m and the length of the crimped parts is 5-70 mm. In the respective interlaced parts 12, 0-2 small loops 13 having <=1 mm length are present.
