Summary:PURPOSE:To surely perform in a short time even when a significant numeric change is desired by slowing down the change of displayed numerical value in the range of the displayed numeric specified beforehand and by accelerating the change of the displayed numerical value outside the range. CONSTITUTION:The title device possesses a key 1, an input device 2 which reads the action of the key 1, and processes and a displaying member 3 performing numeric display by means of a signal from the input device 2. The value of switching time interval for a number 1 is differently set in a specified numeric range specified beforehand by the input device and in an outside range. Within a set range, the change of numerical value slows down to the extent that eyes can follow so that pressing of the key can be stopped when the numeri cal value is seen. Thus, the numerical value is speedily changed in unnecessary areas so as not to spend time on magnification change. In addition to that, a specified value can surely be obtained.
