Summary: | PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic sensitive material having high adhesion to an electroconductive base material causing no decrease of sensitivity nor increase of residual potential by incorporating a styrene/maleic acid copolymer into a binder resin. CONSTITUTION:In a photosensitive layer constituted of a binder resin on an electroconductive base material, said binder resin contains a styrene/maleic acid copolymer. The binder resin comprises at least one kind of several polymer such as photosetting resin, etc., but the kind may be appropriately selected depending on the desired characteristics, etc. of the photosensitive layer. For example, polycarbonate having high abrasion resistance mechanical strength, etc., is preferred so as to increase durability of the photosensitive layer. By this constitution, a photosensitive body having high adhesion to an electroconductive base material and causing no decrease of sensitivity nor increase of residual potential is obtd. |
