Summary:PURPOSE:To enable the sure full close of a valve and the sure exhaust of a gas by forming the head part shape of the valve provided in the gas vent groove communicating to a die cavity in a step shape and specifically forming the gas vent passage going round the moving side part of the valve. CONSTITUTION:A valve head part 20 is formed in the step shape consisting of a large diameter part 20a and the small diameter part 20b with taper in a co-axial shape projecting to a gas vent groove 23 direction therefrom. A gas vent passage 25 is formed by the passage 25a running along the end face and peripheral face of the small diameter part 20b by communicated to a groove 23 and a pair of the detour passage 25b communicating to the valve chamber 24 just before a valve seat 15e by coming from the side face part of the small diameter part 20b. A gas vent device 13 for die is set in the state shown in the figure and when a molten metal is injected into the cavity 22 of a die 21 in the valve opening state, the gas inside the cavity 22 comes in the passage 25a via the groove 23 and parts with the passage 25b of both parts. It comes inside a spool 15 from the valve opening part just before the valve seat 15e by making a detour thereafter and is exhausted to the external part from a vent hole 15f. It is vigorously ascended into the groove 23 when the molten metal is filled up in the cavity 22, the valve head part is ascended and a tapered part 20e is closely fitted to the valve seat 15e.
