Summary:PURPOSE:To prevent cracking from being generated on a weld zone and to maintain airtightness by interposing plural clad materials with a coefficient of thermal expansion and thickness specified between weld zones at the time of welding plural members to be welded with the different coefficient of thermal expansion more than twice. CONSTITUTION:The plural clad materials 2 and 3 having the almost equal coefficient of thermal expansion to each member to be welded and thinner than the spot diameter of a laser beam are interposed between the weld zones of the members 1a and 1b to be welded having the different coefficient of thermal expansion more than twice. The laser beam 5 is projected directly as shown in the figure and the laser beam 5 is scanned along the clad materials 2 and 3 and a bead 4 is formed or the laser beam 5 irradiation side of a butt part of the members 1a and 1b to be welded and the members 1a and 1b to be welded and the clad materials 2 and 3 are joined integrally. By this method, the stress of the members 1a and 1b to be welded generated when the bead 4 is solidified and contracted can be relaxed.
