Summary:PURPOSE:To delicately and minutely make a change and to attain the most suitable characteristic by using the table of a memory and changing the characteristic of an audio signal supplied to a headphone in accordance with the direction of the head of a listener. CONSTITUTION:When the listener turns his or her head, signals Sd and Pa in accordance with the direction can be obtained, the count value of a counter 74 becomes a value in accordance with the direction of the head of the listener by them, this count value is supplied as an address signal to a memory 77 through a control circuit 75, data corresponding to the direction of the head of the listener are fetched from the memory 77 and the data are supplied to circuits 11, 12, 21, 22, 41, 42, 51 and 52. Thus, the change can be made delicately and minutely to the direction of the head of the listener and the optimum characteristic can be attained.
