Summary:PURPOSE: To manufacture a joint structure, lighter in weight and lower in cost, by embedding a joint metal fitting consisting of a joint metal fitting mainbody and bowl like bodies bonded thereto in a joint end and tightening with bolts to assuring effective resistance force. CONSTITUTION: The end of a steel cylindrical body 14 is welded and fixed to the inner face of a steel joint end plate 13 with a bolt insertion hole 3 to form a joint metal fitting mainbody 4. A steel bowl like body 5 in a split spherical shape with a bolt insertion hole 6 is fitted to the cylindrical body 14 and welded and fixed to the cylindrical body 14 in the state of being locked to the joint end plate 13 to form a joint metal fitting 2. The joint metal fitting 2 is embedded and fixed to the bonded end of a concrete segment and tightened with the bolts passed through the insertion holes 3, 6 for bonding both adjacent concrete segments. Effective resistance force to the tensile force of the bolts is assured.
