Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain an electrostatic latent image recording cassette and its recorder by which everyone can easily photograph and record an electrostatic latent image by incorporating a recording member consisting of a photosensitive body and a charge maintaining medium into a case having a window part fetching an optical image. CONSTITUTION:The cassette 280 having the window part 281 for fetching an optical image is provided with a photosensitive body 283, a film-like charge maintaining medium 285, a feeding roll 289, a take-up roll 291, etc. This cassette 280 is set to an image pickup device 300 to merely release a shutter, whereby an image is exposed to record an electrostatic image. If the cassette 280 is provided with a part 282 such as a bar code indicating photographing conditions, they are read out at the contact point, etc., of the photographing device 300, and automatically set and/or recorded. Namely, only by setting the cassette 280 to the photographing device 300, everyone can readily record an electrostatic image.
