CONSTITUTION:A 1st image pickup system 61 and a 2nd image pickup system 62 are arranged so that optical axes are made in parallel with each other and, when a stereoscopic picture is observed by using pictures obtained from the two image pickup systems, 11th, 12th wedge prisms 63a, 63b are provided in front of the 1st image pickup system 61 and 21st, 22nd wedge prisms 64a, 64b are provided in front of the 2nd image pickup system 62, and the 11th, 12th wedge prisms 63a, 63b and the 21st, 22nd wedge prisms 64a, 64b are turned in opposite directions to each other while being interlocking with the operation of a focus section of the image pickup system and a cross point between an optical axis via the 11th, 12th wedge prisms 63a, 63b and an optical axis via the 21st, 22nd wedge prisms 64a, 64b is almost made coincident with a focal point by the image pickup systems.
