Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain a heat storage type air conditioning plant which is equipped with a heat storage tank with a built-in heat storage medium as a measure for restraining and leveling the day power consumption, and is capable of holding an optimum cold-storage amount regardless of presence or absence of residual ice and always performing cold storage amount controls for making provision against cold-heat radiation operation on the following day. CONSTITUTION:A cold storage controller 14 is provided to perform cold storage operation for a set time period when the water in a heat storage tank 11 is at a specified temperature on higher at the set start up time of cold storage operation, and to output a cold storage instruction for a required cold storage time period that is previously set, against the cumulative cold-heat radiation time period on the previous day when it is not higher than the spedified temperature.
