Summary:PURPOSE:To enhance image density, resolution, and fixability by using a copolymer resin of at least an allyl ether and a monomer having a carboxylic group for a toner binder. CONSTITUTION:The resin produced by copolymerizing at least an allyl ether with a monomer having an carboxylic group is used for the toner binder, thus permitting the copolymer resin to be used for kneading an organic pigment or carbon black with this resin at high temperature and producing a colorant, so, the pigment including carbon black to be dispersed into primary particles, and accordingly, glossy copies to be obtained, and the toner layer to be good in fluidity even during a fixing stage, consequently, each of image density, resolution, and fixability to be enhanced.
