Summary:PURPOSE:To provide a mounting device for a speed-detecting element, by which the rotating speed of a rotor can be detected adequately without an influence of a revolving field of a coil. CONSTITUTION:One rear-side case 21a out of a pair of cases 21 and 21a for storing a stator core 24, a rotor 26 and the like has a recessed part 23 on the rear central face to be fitted to a rotor supporting frame 22a. The recessed part 23 has a projected rotating disk 29 made of permanent magnet fixed to a rotor axle 27 of a rotor 26. A cover body 30 for storing a printed circuit board 5 with an integrated speed detecting element 37 is fitted to the recessed part 23. The rotating disk 29 and the speed detecting element 37 are provided in a space between the recessed part 23 and the cover body 30 in a sealed state in the motor. Then, the magnetic force of the rotating disk 29 that rotates with the rotor 26 can be adequately detected by the speed detecting element 37 without an influence of a revolving magnetic field of the coil 25.
