Summary:PURPOSE: To obtain a scouring agent composition having low viscosity and foaming at a low temperature in a high concentration, excellent workability, scouring property and emulsifying stability of removed oil. CONSTITUTION: This scouring agent composition is composed of (A) a nonionic surfactant expressed by the formula R is an 8-13C aliphatic hydrocarbon group; (n) is 1-8; (m) is 1-5; (k) is 2-15; (l) is 1-5; [(C2 H4 O)n /(C3 H6 O)m -] expresses random addition} and (B) an anionic surfactant, preferably a mixture of (B1 ) an 8-22C saturated or unsaturated fatty acid or its salt and (B2 ) a salt of sulfate or a salt of a carboxymethylate at a ratio of B1 :B2 in a solid or a reduced value of 1:1-5 and a solid weight ratio of each component to the whole solid weight is: A is 50-95wt.% and B is 5-50wt.%. As the B2 component, an 8-18C aliphatic alcohol or a salt of sulfate or a salt of carboxymethylate of a 1-10mol ethylene oxide adduct of an 8-18C aliphatic alcohol is exemplified.
