Summary: | PURPOSE:To fill a bathtub with hot water through both supply and return pipes by a method wherein, when the bathtub filling through the supply and return pipes in a circulation pipeline for additional heating is started, whether the flow rate of hot water passing through a hot water feeder is higher or lower than a minimum flow rate capable of purging air in the circulation pipeline for additional heating is detected, and in the case of not higher than the minimum flow rate, the supply of hot water is once suspended and then restarted after equalizing hot water levels in both supply and return pipes, and in the case of not lower than that, the supply of hot water is continued as it is. CONSTITUTION:After the supply of hot water to a bathtub is started, the flow rate of hot water passing through a heat exchanger 2 for hot water feed is detected by a flow rate sensor 14 to judge whether the flow rate is not higher than a minimum flow rate (e.g. 14l/min) required for air purge. In the case of not higher than the minimum flow rate, the supply of hot water is once suspended and then restarted after equalizing hot water levels in both supply and return pipes, and thereafter, the supply of hot water is shifted to a subsequent flow preset by a remote controller. In the case of 14l/min or higher, the supply of hot water is continued without suspending it. Accordingly, in a case where hot water is only supplied through either one of the supply pipe and the return pipe in a circulation pipeline for additional heating on account of some cause, such a condition is detected to remove its cause, so that the bathtub filling can be done through both pipes. |
