PREPARATION:The objective 2-(2-trimethylaminothiazol-4-yl)-2- methoxyiminoacetic acid lithium salt and its hydrate can be produced by hydrolyzing a lower alkyl ester of 2-(2-trimethylaminothiazol-4-yl)-2- methoxyiminoacetic acid in the presence of lithium hydroxide.
