PURPOSE:To remove wiring for precharge power supply which is provided in a wiring region so as to make the size of a semiconductor chip small by providing MISFET for precharge power supply between a data line and a semiconductor region for needless carrier capture. CONSTITUTION:A switch element (n-channel MISFETQnp) to connect a data line DL to a semiconductor region 5 for needless carrier capture is provided near the semiconductor region 5 for needless carrier capture of a semiconductor substrate 1. Hereby, the semiconductor region 5 for needless carrier capture can be used as wiring for precharge power supply for applying specified potential (potential 1/2VCC) to the data line DL at the time of precharge of the data line DL. For this reason, it can remove the wiring for precharge power supply which is provided in the wiring region of the semiconductor substrate apart from the semiconductor region for needless carrier capture and can make the wiring region small. Hereby, the size of a semiconductor chip 1 can be made small.
