Summary:PURPOSE:To provide a planting mat which is well adaptive to any sloe face, can prevent the planting materials consisting of seeds and a base material for planting from flowing away as well from the oversurface as undersurface owing to rainfall, permits plant seeds to well germinate and grow, allows the plant to grow certainly, effectively prevents the surface soil of the slope face from flowing away, and enables germination of the seeds of those flowers, wild grass, and trees and their growth which work well for introduction of greenery to the slope fae or restoration thereof. CONSTITUTION:A planting material layer S consisting of seeds 3 and a base material for planting 4 is pinched by an oversurface sheet 1 and undersurface sheet 2 which are made of a water soluble substance, and a water-decomposing sheet 5 is attached to the outside surface of the oversurface sheet. To the outside surface of this water-decomposing sheet, the first net 6 is affixed which has knots admitting germination of seeds and growth, and the second nets N1, N2, N3 are provided in the planting material layer.
