Summary:A polyester resin composition providing a light-weight molding material with excellent surface conditions and mechanical properties comprises (in parts based on 100 parts by weight of the resin): (A) 97 to 20 parts by weight of a polyester resin, (B) 3 to 80 parts by weight of a polyolefin resin, (C) 0.1 to 15 parts by weight of a compound having a carbon-to-carbon double bond and an epoxy group in its molecule, (D) 0.1 to 20 % by weight [based on the component (C)] of a radical initiator and, if necessary, (E) a filler, such as glass fiber. The composition displays improved compatibility of a polyester resin with a polyolefin resin.
