PURPOSE:To receive and pay money efficiently through one device which are operated by plural clerks by providing plural buttons dedicated to money receipt and payment for using a money receipt unit and a money payment unit exclusively corresponding to the operators. CONSTITUTION:Plural money receipt dedicated buttons 3 for using the money receipt unit 2 exclusively are provided corresponding to the clerks and plural money payment dedicated buttons 4 for using the money payment unit 1 exclusively are provided corresponding to the clerks; and this device is provided with a money receipt button effectiveness control means 5 which makes only one of the money receipt dedicated buttons 3 effective and a money payment effectiveness control means 6 which makes only one of the money payment dedicated buttons 4 effective. Then one of the clerks is enabled to perform a transaction and the money receipt unit 2 or money payment unit 1 is actuated. Consequently, money receipt processing and money payment processing are performed in parallel and the transaction is carried out efficiently.
