Summary:PURPOSE:To continuously measure a blood pressure value always with high accuracy, by calculating the corresponding relation between a pulse wave and a blood value on the basis of the pulse wave, after the positional shift of a human body and a pulse wave detector is detected by a correction means. CONSTITUTION:Since this blood pressure continuous measuring apparatus is constituted so that blood pressure value is continuously measured on the basis of the pulse wave signal SM outputted from a pulse wave sensor 16, blood pressure can be continuously measured for a long time without obstructing the blood circulation of an examinee or imparting a pain to the examinee. Since a blood pressure value is measured at every one pulse wave, the extremely fine trend of the blood pressure value is obtained. When a write 14 whose pulse wave is detected by the pulse wave sensor 16 moves, the coefficients Kmax, Kmin or corresponding relational expressions (1), (2) for calculating the max. blood pressure value SYS(mmHg) and min. blood pressure value DIA (mmHg) from the max. value Mmax(mmHg) and min. value Mmin(mmHg) of the pulse wave shown by the pulse wave signal SM for determining a blood pressure are newly calculated and the blood pressure values are determined according to said new coefficients Kmax, Kmin and, therefore, the blood pressures can be always continuously measured with high accuracy.
