To provide a power saving type operation management system which temporarily operates a ground device only when a train passes.SOLUTION: A power saving type operation management system includes: a train travelling on a track R; a management center for performing operation management of each train and a ground device 30; and the ground device 30 arranged on the track. A center device turns on the power of the ground device 30 and brings it into an operation state, when the train reaches a predetermined distance with respect to the ground device 30, performs determination processing whether or not the ground device 30 is a hindrance point that hinders passing of the train, and in the case where it is not the hindrance point, after the train has passed the ground device 30, it turns off the power of the ground device 30 and brings it into a non-operation state. This processing is performed repeatedly until the train reaches the destination.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】列車の通過時にのみ、地上装置を一時的に稼働させる省電力型運行管理システムを提供する。【解決手段】省電力型運行管理システムは、軌道Ｒを走行する列車と、各列車及び地上装置３０の運行管理を行う管理センタと、軌道上に配置される地上装置３０とを備えている。センタ装置は、列車が地上装置３０に対して所定距離に到達した際に、地上装置３０の電源をオンにして稼働状態とし、地上装置３０が列車の通行を妨げる支障点であるか否かの判定処理を行い、支障点でない場合に列車が地上装置３０の通過後に、地上装置３０の電源をオフにして非稼働状態とする。これの処理を列車が目的地に到着するまで繰り返して行う。【選択図】図３
