Summary:To provide a ship capable of holding at least a part of a deck in a target height position without using a friction force sensor.SOLUTION: A ship comprises a hull, a hydraulic cylinder, a deck connected via the hull and the hydraulic cylinder, a hydraulic pump constituting a closed circuit through connection to the hydraulic cylinder, a supporting capacity calculation unit to calculate the supporting capacity to support the deck using the hydraulic cylinder, and a flow control unit to adjust a flow rate of the hydraulic oil flowing in the circuit by controlling the hydraulic pump based on the supporting capacity.
