Summary: | To provide a water softening device capable of suppressing an increase in hardness of softening water after water softening treatment even when a raw water temperature is low.SOLUTION: A water softening device 1 includes a water softening tank 3 in which raw water containing hardness components is softened with a weakly acidic cation exchange resin 33, a neutralization tank 4 in which the pH of the softened water that has passed through the water softening tank 3 is neutralized with a weakly basic anion exchange resin 34, a temperature detection part 61 that detects the temperature of the raw water flowing into the water softening tank 3, and a performance securing part 62 that operates to secure the ion exchange capacity of the weakly acidic cation exchange resin 33 based on the detection results of the temperature detection part 61. The performance securing part 62 adjusts at least one of the flow rate or temperature of the raw water flowing into the water softening tank 3 when the temperature of the raw water detected by the temperature detection part 61 is below a predetermined temperature.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】原水温度が低い場合にも軟水化処理後の軟水の硬度の上昇を抑制することが可能な軟水化装置を提供する。【解決手段】軟水化装置1は、硬度成分を含む原水を弱酸性陽イオン交換樹脂33により軟水化する軟水槽3と、軟水槽3を通過した軟水のpHを弱塩基性陰イオン交換樹脂34により中和する中和槽4と、軟水槽3に流入する原水の温度を検知する温度検知部61と、温度検知部61の検知結果に基づいて弱酸性陽イオン交換樹脂33のイオン交換能を担保するように動作する性能担保部62と、を備える。性能担保部62は、温度検知部61が検知した原水の温度が所定温度未満の場合に、軟水槽3に流入する原水の流量または温度の少なくとも一方を調節する。【選択図】図1 |
