Summary:To provide a probe for pulse oximeters capable of suppressing temperature rise of a light emitting part by preventing the light emitting part and a light receiving part from projecting, and dispensing with alignment of the light emitting part and the light receiving part, when the probe is attached to a subject.SOLUTION: A probe includes a ring-shaped base material to be worn on a finger of a subject, a flexible film mounted on an inner peripheral surface of the ring-shaped base material, and a light emitting device and a light receiving device mounted on a film at positions facing each other on both sides of the finger, of the ring-shaped base material. The ring-shaped base material has a C-shaped cross section and has flexibility. Each of the light emitting device and the light receiving device is a bare chip and is directly connected to a wire provided on the surface of the film. A periphery of the light emitting device and the light receiving device is sealed with a transparent sealing material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】発光部および受光部が突出しておらず、発光部の温度上昇を抑制することができ、かつ、被検体への装着時に発光部と受光部の位置合わせの必要のないパルスオキシメーター用プローブを提供する。【解決手段】プローブは、被検体の指に装着される指輪型基材と、指輪型基材の内周面に搭載された可撓性のフィルムと、指輪型基材の指を挟んで対向する位置のフィルムに搭載された、発光素子と受光素子とを有する。指輪型基材は、断面がC字形状であって、可撓性を有する。発光素子および受光素子は、いずれも、ベアチップであり、フィルムの表面に設けられた配線に直接接合されている。発光素子および受光素子の周囲は透明な封止材により封止されている。【選択図】図2
