To provide a semiconductor integrated circuit device capable of notifying a failure to a rear-step circuit and reducing a restriction against the rear-step circuit.SOLUTION: A semiconductor integrated circuit device (1) includes: signal processing circuits (13, 14, 15, and 18) that is constructed so as to process a signal to be received; a failure detection circuit (16) that is constructed so as to detect a failure in the semiconductor integrated circuit device; and an output terminal (T3). In the case where the failure is not detected by the failure detection circuit, an output signal of the signal processing circuit is output from the output terminal to an external part.
