Summary:To provide a shield connector that can sufficiently suppress noise generated at a circumference of a terminal of an electric wire from entering a housing and also prevent an influence of noise of an external intense electric field to provide stable communication.SOLUTION: A shield connector 1 comprises: a shield shell 24 which has one sides electrically connected to a shield terminal 12 of an opposite-side connector 10 and the other side installed on a wiring board 40 housed in an enclosure 2; a housing 21 which houses the shield shell 24; and a grounding piece 30 which is electrically connected to the shield shell 24 and grounded to a wall surface 6b of the enclosure 2, wherein the shield shell 24 is so formed as to have larger cross sectional area at a connection part 25a for the grounding piece 30 than more on the side of the wiring board 40 than the connection part 25a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7B 【課題】電線の端子周辺から発生するノイズの筐体内への侵入を十分に抑制することができ、かつ、外来の強電界のノイズの影響を防いで安定した通信を行うことができるシールドコネクタを提供する。【解決手段】シールドコネクタ1は、一側において相手コネクタ10のシールド端子12と電気的に接続され、他側において筐体2に収容された配線基板40に設置されるシールドシェル24と、このシールドシェル24を収容するハウジング21と、シールドシェル24と電気的に接続され、筐体2の壁面6bにアース接地されるアース片30と、を備え、シールドシェル24は、アース片30との接続部25aにおける断面積が該接続部25aよりも配線基板40側の断面積より大きく形成されている。【選択図】図7B
