Summary:To provide an AC current supply circuit for batteries which enhances an internal state of a battery while suppressing a capacity change of the battery.SOLUTION: Two sub-batteries 11 and 12 as a battery 1 are connected via a secondary coil 32 of a step-down transformer 3. In another example, the battery is connected to a capacitor via the secondary coil of the step-down transformer. The capacitor comprises a smoothing capacitor 5 which is connected to a pair of DC input ends of a power switching circuit. Thus, the battery can be charged/discharged without a complicated circuit by supplying an AC current to the battery, A secondary AC voltage induced to the secondary coil charges/discharges the battery.
