Summary:To provide a manufacturing method for compost that allows for labor saving and automation.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method for compost comprises the steps of: storing an organic material in a container 10; producing a mixed component 11 by mixing, in the container 10, specified microorganisms having the capability to ferment the organic material with the organic material or causing natural fermentation in the organic material; promoting the fermentation by the specified microorganisms by applying red light to the mixed component 11; and inhibiting the fermentation by the specified microorganisms by applying blue light to the mixed component 11 when the temperature inside the container 10 has reached a predetermined threshold temperature. The manufacturing method repeats the cycle from the step of promoting the fermentation by applying red light to the step of inhibiting the fermentation by applying blue light plural times.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】省力化され、かつ自動化が可能な堆肥の製造方法を得る。【解決手段】本開示の堆肥の製造方法は、容器10に有機物資材を収容する工程と、容器10内で有機物資材に有機物資材を発酵させる特性を有する特定微生物を混合して混合部材11を生成する工程、もしくは、有機物資材内に自然発酵を発生させる工程と、混合部材11に赤色光を照射して特定微生物による発酵を促進する工程と、容器10内の温度が予め設定された閾値温度に到達した場合に混合部材11に青色光を照射して特定微生物による発酵を抑制する工程と、を備え、赤色光の照射による発酵を促進する工程から青色光の照射による発酵を抑制する工程までを複数回繰り返すことを特徴とする。【選択図】図1
